Though not listed as an atypical death goddess, she was not unlike the Valkyries of the Norse mythos. She was of the battlefield and would touch those among the dead. Her role in this visage is cleary that of a psychopomp. Denziens of which I have worked with. I imagine being a pschopomp would be taxing and rewarding. The reaping of the newly dead as many cling to things, people, and can be bound or emotionally anchored in some instances. The ability to sever such bonds to release those bound and taking them onward to his or her destination. I feel it would be honorable to say the least and I respect those who have taken on such tasks beyond the veil.
So the to The Morrighan, who takes such a role, claiming her own and honored, may she descend on wings of a raven to touch and make the transformation swift.
