Today I performed my invocation and offerings, I asked, how would one receive a kiss from The Morrighan? The response was as any warrior queen would, and it made me think of her being the original Wonder Woman, as I admit to having a slight infatuation with the character for some time even before the fan fair or movie. The Morrighan, responded, "As keeper of the stone (I took this as grave), I have bore many of the fallen. Those not true to their hearts nor seed. Folly not in letting the suns rays in, as the earth greets, and is warmed by it in kind. Learn, grow, and know of thy shadow. Stand true in this knowledge in purity and innocence. Then you will have the power to wield your sword for truth and justice." Definitely not that cuddly type of goddess, but to the point and a way to navigate her labryinth as all will be revealed by the sun's light. If you hide things, you are only hurting yourself in the long run.
Also, yesterday as I ventured out. I went to a nearby lake to harvest wood for staffs and came to a hallow of a fallen tree. Inside the hallow laid two large animal bones, which I thought would be great for a wand or axe handle. They were clean of meat and had been there for some time. I asked the spirits of the grove if I could remove and harvest the bones. Then I asked The Morrighan if it would be fine, I instantly got a reply, "yes I can take these bones from their place of rest, only for something in return." I thought for minute on what I could offer as money does no good and I had not even a coin on me. So I spied a thorny vine not a step away and asked if I pricked mine finger would my blood suffice? "Yes, they would accept my blood, pricked by the thorn as offering to remove the bones." So I pressed until my finger oozed steady with crimson red. I then stained the hallowed wood with three swipes and then offered three drops for the earth, pressing my finger on the ground. Then it felt right and ok for me to remove the bones for repurposing.
